About Our Athletic Program
For the last eight years, the Red River Rattlers have been developing a basketball program for home schooled boys and girls in the North Texas/Southern Oklahoma region. In addition to the basketball program, we now also offer volleyball and track. We currently have over forty participating families from Ardmore, OK to Decatur, Denton, Sherman and the area surrounding Gainesville, TX.
The Red River Rattler Athletic Association is dedicated to providing home school students with the opportunity to play competitive sports in a Christian environment. Our purpose is to provide a positive, Christ-centered experience for all our players; honoring Christ and keeping Him first.
In order to meet the needs of all programs, the Red River Rattler Athletic Association was formed in February, 2012 and application was made for 501(c)3 non-profit status.
